• Your email address when you subscribe to Witty Pro (processed by Polar).
• Your settings and preferences (like daily engagement targets and custom AI instructions).
• Session data including browser type and extension version.
• If you enable personalization, we collect your recent tweets to help the AI write in your voice.
• AI-generated reply suggestions we create for you.
• Basic analytics data (via PostHog) to help us improve Witty.

How we use your data

• To provide AI-powered reply suggestions tailored to your writing style.
• To track your engagement progress toward your daily targets.
• To surface high-value tweets in your discover feed.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To understand general usage patterns and improve Witty.

Who we share it with

• Polar for payment processing.
• AI providers to generate reply suggestions (your data is not used to train their models).
• PostHog for privacy-first analytics.
• We will never sell your data. Ever.

Your tweets and personalization

• Tweet collection for personalization is optional and can be disabled in settings.
• We only collect tweets you've already posted publicly on 𝕏.
• Your tweets are used solely to help the AI match your writing style.
• We don't share your tweet data with third parties for their own purposes.

Your rights

• You can disable tweet personalization at any time in the extension settings.
• You can request to delete your data by emailing team@witty.so.
• We respect your rights under privacy laws like GDPR.

Age limits

• Witty is for users aged 13 and up (in line with 𝕏's terms).
• We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13.
