The basics

• You're responsible for your account and everything that happens under it.

Your use of Witty

• Use Witty for lawful purposes only.
• Don't use Witty to spam, harass, or violate 𝕏's terms of service.
• Don't try to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our systems.
• Don't use automated scripts to abuse our AI or infrastructure.
• Respect the usage limits for your plan (free or Pro).

AI-generated content

• Witty provides AI-generated reply suggestions to help you engage on 𝕏.
• You are responsible for reviewing and editing suggestions before posting.
• You are solely responsible for all content you post on 𝕏, even if based on our suggestions.
• AI suggestions are provided as-is and may not always be accurate or appropriate.
• We don't guarantee any specific results from using Witty.

Your content

• You retain ownership of your tweets and content.
• You grant us permission to use your public tweets to personalize AI suggestions (if enabled).
• We may aggregate and anonymize usage data for analytics and improvements.

Payments and billing

• We use Polar to process payments. By subscribing, you agree to Polar's terms.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• Pricing is available on our website and may change with notice.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you have concerns.

𝕏 (Twitter) relationship

• Witty is an independent product and is not affiliated with 𝕏 Corp.
• Your use of 𝕏 is subject to 𝕏's own terms of service.
• We're not responsible for changes 𝕏 makes that may affect Witty's functionality.
• If 𝕏's terms conflict with how Witty operates, 𝕏's terms take precedence for your 𝕏 account.

Intellectual property

• Witty and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Witty Social.
• Our service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software without permission.

Termination

• You can stop using Witty at any time by uninstalling the extension.
• You can cancel your Pro subscription from your account settings.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
• Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

Limitation of liability

• We're not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• We're not responsible for any actions 𝕏 takes against your account.
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months.
• Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

Changes to terms

• We may update these terms from time to time.
• We'll notify you of significant changes via the extension or website.
